The curriculum pack includes:
- A course schedule.
- 12 weeks of daily lesson plans (60 days of 50-minute instruction). This can be extended to up to 18 weeks by covering additional recommended topics and/or including more hands-on class projects.
- 24 PowerPoint presentations to illustrate the core XHTML and CSS concepts.
- 3 student handouts and exercises (not graded)
- 22 class projects, including a comprehensive final project that requires students to incorporate knowledge from all prior weeks of instruction.
- 22 grading rubrics, one for each project.
- 22 XHTML/CSS source code samples. These correspond to each project and are useful for both student and teacher by providing examples of correctly completed projects.
- A web design pretest.
- 8 weekly quizzes.
- A midterm exam.

All materials, including the course schedule, PowerPoints, handouts, class projects, grading rubrics, source code examples, tests, and quizzes are in digital format and are fully editable. Teachers are free to modify and customize the materials to meet the needs of their own classroom environments.
Teachers will need to have Microsoft Office or OpenOffice to open the Word documents and PowerPoint presentations. Student lab computers will need to have a modern web browser, a basic text editing program such as Notepad, and a basic image editing program such as MS Office Picture Manager.
Images files included in the course materials are free of copyright concerns, as we either own the copyright, have express permission from the copyright holder, or used public domain images.
